What does it take to be great?
To be one of the greatest athletes of all time, it takes more than raw talent.
It is fair to say that when you make it to the highest level everyone (for the most part) has raw talent.... A lot of people claim that what separates the greatest players to ever play from the rest is a growth mindset....Their ability to adapt during every play, of every game, at every level; with every coach, every teammate, and every opponent. They control what they can control, they learn from their mistakes, and they move on...
To get a look inside the minds of some of the greatest athletes of all time, we have asked them two simple questions: What is one piece of advice you would give yourself 8 years ago? and If you could ask your future self one questions, what would it be?
With our first Wisdom Wednesday post ON THE LINE we have asked 3X Tewaaraton winner (an honor given to the best player in college lacrosse), 2X National Champion, 2X gold medalist (FIL World Cup and World Games), Team USA superstar, and WPLL Standout Taylor Cummings, to give kick us off.
1. What is one piece of advice you would give yourself 8 years ago?
